FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, oncology, x-ray diagnostics with contrast enhancement and aims at evaluating risk of fragmentation of tumour thrombus in surgical interventions in patients with kidney cancer. Method comprises computed tomography with intravenous bolus amplification with radiopaque agent (ROA). In central apex of a thrombus if diameter is 1.0 cm and more, average x-ray density (SRP) before introduction of ROA is determined and in later corticomedullary phase 30-40 s after beginning of introduction of ROA. Calculating a contrast enhancing coefficient (CEC) by formula CEC=(SRP2-SRP1)/SRP2, where SRP1 and SRP2 are SRP before introduction and after introduction of ROA, respectively. For CEC equal to 0.5 or less, a risk of fragmentation of tumour thrombus is considered to high, and CEC greater than 0.5 shows low risk.EFFECT: method provides reliable differentiation of conditionally "dense" and "loose" consistency of tumour thrombus at stage of planning surgical intervention, which is then prevention of thromboembolism, in particular, PATE.1 cl, 5 dwg, 4 ex, 1 tbl |
