PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crank shaft assembly in which slipping-out of a drive-side rotation member of a sprocket etc. and a bearing which bears a crank shaft can be prevented simply in a power-assist bicycle, and a power-assist bicycle provided with this.SOLUTION: A crank shaft assembly is an assembly of a crank shaft 2 which includes: the crank shaft 2; a magnetostriction shaft 4 that is fixed at one end side of the crank shaft 2, is rotatable integrally with the crank shaft 2, and is arranged as coaxial with the crank shaft 2; a drive-side rotation member 3 that is fitted to the magnetostriction shaft 4 and is driven by the crank shaft 2; and a bearing 5 of the crank shaft 2 that is included between the magnetostriction shaft 4 and the crank shaft 2. Provided is a slipping-out stopping member 9 which becomes a slipping-out stopper for both of the drive-side rotation member 3 and the bearing 5. |
