PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer device which can flexibly set a route through which data passes when the data is stored on a network, a data processing terminal, a network system, and a data transfer method.SOLUTION: The data transfer device has a receiving section and a transmission section. The receiving section receives packet data in which a counter value indicating the number of the data transfer device through which data passes is set. When the counter value is a predetermined first value, the transmission section transmits the packet data to an address of the packet data by setting a data processing terminal which has created the packet data. When the counter value is different from the first value, the transmission section sets other data transfer devices to the address of the packet data to allow the packet data to circulate among the data transfer devices, thereby transmitting the packet data to the other data transfer devices to hold the packet data on a network. |
