PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sterilize an inside of a bottle with a small amount of hot water in a short period of time when filling a beverage in the bottle.SOLUTION: A beverage filling method includes the steps of: forming a bottle by blow-molding from a heated preform; sterilizing an inside of the bottle by supplying the bottle with hot water having temperature in a range of 70 to 80°C, and bringing the hot water into contact with the entire interior surface of the bottle by 0.1 to 0.2 mL per 1 cm, while heat with which the preform is applied remains; and then filling the bottle with a beverage and thereafter to seal it. With this method, the inside of the bottle can be properly and quickly sterilized with the residual heat and heat of the hot water, and a beverage package of good quality can be manufactured. |
