The panel has outer shell (100) having metallic outer peripheral surface (110), and approximately parallel inner shell (200) having metallic inner peripheral surface (210). The outer and inner shells have upper and lower ends (150,190,250,290) extending in the direction of the inner and outer shells, and having transition regions in the longitudinal direction of the panel. The mutually facing edges (144,172,232,272) of transition regions are spaced from each other and are attached by panel extending web (300) of thermally insulating material via self-adhesive.
