Provided is a method for controlling a plurality of cursors based on a touch screen device. The method for controlling a plurality of cursors based on a touch screen device includes: figuring out moving directions of a plurality of cursors; dividing a screen of a touch screen based on the moving directions; assigning the plurality of cursors to be matched to the divided screen areas of the touch screen one by one; detecting a touch input in the divided touch screen area; extracting the cursor corresponding to the detected touch input; activating the extracted cursor; and moving the cursor extracted to correspond to the touch input.
