PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receptacle connector having a ground contact, electrically integrated by a simple and reliable method.SOLUTION: A receptacle connector includes a housing having a slot configured to receive a mating connector therein. The housing holds a signal contact 16a including a signal fitting segment 42 having a signal fitting interface exposed in the slot so as to engage with the mating connector, and a ground contact 16b including a ground fitting segment 42 having a ground fitting interface exposed in the slot so as to engage with the mating connector. A ground bus 60 integrates the ground contact electrically. The ground contact and ground bus are manufactured integrally as a single and integral continuous structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
