PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition that can reduce sediment of a white coloring material with time in the composition and gives good shielding property and color developing property of a white image when the composition is deposited on a recording medium.SOLUTION: The ink composition of the present invention comprises a white coloring material, polymer particles, and a solvent. The white coloring material is an aggregate of particles having a primary particle diameter of 10 nm or more and 200 nm or less, and the polymer particles satisfy expression (1): Y≤0.33X+20.
