PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for speeding up bacterial identification and determination in drug sensitivity test.SOLUTION: The state of bacterial division is monitored by microscopic observation of the shape and number of bacteria in each well in a culture plate for bacterial identification culture and drug sensitivity test; and the shape, number, and area of the bacteria are analyzed from an image obtained by the microscopic observation of whether the bacteria multiply in the log phase into which the lag phase has changed, and the change over time of them is graphed. Whether the bacteria have multiplied is determined from the graph for each one measurement, and the determination results are displayed on a screen to provide drug sensitivity results for each measurement.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
