PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly switch driving modes, and reliably help an occupant understand driving manipulations, which are controlled in the respective driving modes, and a necessary driving manipulation.SOLUTION: Provided is an autonomous driving control unit that includes: an autonomous driving controller that can switch a manual driving mode, in which an occupant of a vehicle is requested to perform a driving manipulation, and an autonomous control mode in which the occupant of the vehicle need not perform the driving manipulation, and controls the vehicle in the autonomous control mode; and an information notifier that notifies the occupant of the vehicle. After the autonomous control mode is switched to the manual driving mode, if the occupant is requested to perform the driving manipulation, the autonomous driving controller performs first notification control for allowing the information notifier to notify the fact that the occupant is requested to perform the driving manipulation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
