PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which reduces an impact force when a damping force is switched and which suppresses vibration when dewatering starts and noise during high-speed rotation, in a vibration-proof device in which the size of the damping force is switched.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes an inner tub having a rotary vane at a bottom part, an outer tub for including the inner tub, and an outer frame for accommodating the outer tub, and the outer tub is suspended and supported at the outer frame by a vibration-proof device. The vibration-proof device includes: a suspension rod in which one end is supported by the outer frame and which supports a compression spring at the other end via a spring receiver; a slide in which the suspension rod penetrates and which comes into contact with the outer tub; a bottomed cylindrical body which is disposed below the slide and which comes into contact with the compression spring; and a sliding member which is included in the cylindrical body and which slides with respect to the suspension rod. The contact surface between the sliding member and the slide and the cylindrical body is made to be a truncated cone shape or a spherical shape. A conical angle or a spherical radius of the sliding member is made to be larger than the conical angle or the spherical radius of the slide and the cylindrical body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
