This robotic transfer device comprises: a plurality of modules aligned in a first direction; a robot capable of moving each of the plurality of modules in the first direction; a pinion provided on the robot; a plurality of racks slidably supported by each of the plurality of modules in the first direction, the plurality of racks capable of being engaged with the pinion and aligned in the first direction; and a rack connection mechanism for connecting each of the plurality of racks, aligned in the first direction, with another rack adjacent thereto by allowing a rack located at one end to slide toward a rack located at the other end. |
