An apparatus for suppressing a transient response in a high-speed single-photon detector according to one embodiment of the present invention is electrically connected to an output terminal of the high-speed single-photon detector, comprises an auxiliary circuit having a capacitance corresponding to a junction capacitance of the output terminal, and, on the basis of the auxiliary circuit, can eliminate a capacitive response of an input signal of the high-speed single-photon detector from among the output signals of the output terminal.
