The purpose of the present invention is to provide an electrolyzed water manufacturing device provided with a water softener that can efficiently soften water and for which regeneration is simple, an adsorbent for a water softener, and a water softener. Provided is an electrolyzed water manufacturing device 10a that has: an electrolysis tank 11 having a negative electrode chamber, a positive electrode chamber, and an intermediate chamber; a pair of electrodes 21, 22 disposed respectively in the negative electrode chamber and the positive electrode chamber; a power supply 30 for applying voltage across the electrodes; a water supply unit for supplying water to the positive electrode chamber and the negative electrode chamber; a salt water supply unit 13 for supplying salt water to the intermediate chamber; a metal ion elimination unit 12 in the water supply unit for eliminating metal ions in the water supplied to the electrolysis tank; and a regeneration means for regenerating the metal ion elimination unit 12 by making acidic electrolyzed water flow in the metal ion elimination unit 12. Also provided is an adsorbent for a water softener that includes oxidized graphene or oxidized graphite and is suitable for the metal ion elimination unit 12. Also provided is a water softener that uses the same.
