Disclosed is a spindle motor which can improve driving properties. The spindle motor comprises: a fixing unit having a base member in which an installation unit is formed; and a rotation unit rotatively supported to the fixing unit, and having a rotor hub. A driving magnet is installed in an inner circumference surface of the rotor hub. The fixing unit further includes a stator core installed to be fixed by indentation and adhesion in the installation unit to face the driving magnet.
