The invention provides an instrument panel structure which can increase surface rigidity, reduces vibration and effectively transmit load on front side members to a floor tunnel. An instrument panel 3 is connected to instrument panel side plates 2; front side members 4 on both the left and the right side is connected with the front of the instrument panel 3 from a vehicle front side; bottom side members 5 at both the left and right sides of a bottom plate 7 is connected to back of the instrument panel 3 from a vehicle rear side; an upper tool support portion 31 is provided with a protruding-shaped portion 31a that protrudes toward the vehicle front side at a position which is located between the front side members 4 of the instrument panel 3; a lower tool support portion 32 is provided with a protruding-shaped portion 32a protruding to the vehicle rear side; the protruding shaped portions 31a and 32a each formed with the width W2 is not less than a half of a distance W1 between the front side members 4, and are arranged such that they protrude out from the vehicle body center; and a floor tunnel 8 is connected to the lower tool support portion 32. |
