摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor in which welding accuracy and connection strength between a current collector and an external terminal member are enhanced without being affected by processing accuracy of the current collector and the external terminal member.SOLUTION: A capacitor comprises: electrode bodies (an anode body 60 and a cathode body 80) at an anode side and a cathode side; a capacitor element (4) of a wound element or an unwound element; a sealing member (sealing plate 22) that seals an opening (30) of a case member (an exterior case 20); a single or plural electrode projection parts (an anode portion 6 and a cathode portion 8) that project through an element end surface (5) of the capacitor element; external terminal members (an anode terminal 10 and a cathode terminal 14); a single or plural current collectors (an anode current collector 12 and a cathode current collector 16) connected to the projected electrode projection parts; and a weld part (nugget 18) where the current collector and the external terminal members are welded by irradiation with a laser beam or an electron beam by covering a contact surface of the current collector and the external terminal members with a covering member (a cover portion 53) formed in the current collector or the external terminal members.
