The life of a sacrificial anode for use in a pump device, such as a seawater pump, is extended, thus extending the life of a corrosion protection system of the seawater pump device. A pump device 30 includes a corrosion system 70 including: a measurement unit 20 located at a portion of a column pipe 33 to be immersed into seawater; and a temperature control device 17 located at an installation site of the pump device 30. In this corrosion protection system 70, a sacrificial anode 3 electrically conductive with the column pipe 33 and capable of being controlled in temperature is attached through a heating/cooling unit 11 and a thermal conduction sheet 10 to the column pipe 33. The temperature control device 17 is configured to control, based on the temperature of the sacrificial anode 3 measured by the measurement unit 20, the temperature of the sacrificial anode 3 using the heating/cooling unit 11 attached through the thermal conduction sheet 10 to the sacrificial anode 3. |
