An injection molding apparatus is disclosed that includes an injection manifold (338) having a melt channel (340) and a bore (450) extending through the melt channel. A nozzle seal (432) extends through the bore, wherein the nozzle seal has a shoulder (452) which engages a corresponding shoulder abutment surface (454) on an outside surface (456) of the injection manifold. The nozzle seal is configured to receive melt from the manifold melt channel and redirect the melt to a respective mold gate (438) and seal against melt leakage around the mold gate. |
