PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the period for construction of an oven body of a coke oven.SOLUTION: A method of constructing an oven body of a coke oven includes (a) a step of forming a plurality of brick wall modules 10 consisting of a plurality of steps of a brick layer which is composed of a plurality of bricks 2 arranged in the plane direction including the X and Y directions orthogonal to each other and laminated in the Z direction orthogonal to the plane direction, in a place separated from an oven body construction site, and (b) a step of constructing a brick wall by laminating a plurality of steps of the brick wall modules 10 so that the Z directions of the individual brick wall modules 10 match one another, at the oven body construction site. |
