PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strobe device that prevents a scratch of a camera accessory shoe with a plurality of detachments/attachments repeated, and reliably secures an electric connection to a camera without being affected by an oxide film and the like.SOLUTION: The strobe device comprises: a contact biasing member 27 that biases a contact pin 8 in contact with an electric contact of a camera-side accessory shoe in an electric contact direction in a state where a shoe member 23 is engaged with the camera-side accessory shoe; and movement members 20 and 26 that hold the contact biasing member 27 and move the shoe member 23 to a position of locking the shoe member 23 with respect to the camera-side accessory shoe and to a position of unlocking the shoe member 23 therewith in conjunction with a rotation operation of a lock lever 18. When the movement members 20 and 26 are moved to the locking position, the contact biasing member 27 is compressed to make biasing force of the contact pin 8 with respect to the electric contact larger than when the movement members 20 and 26 are moved to the unlocking position. |
