A ball for a ball game includes: a bladder (2); a fabric layer (3) positioned on an outer side of the bladder (2), the fabric layer (3) having a plurality of fabric pieces (6) and a configuration in which circumferential edge portions (6a) of the fabric pieces (6) adjacent to one another are sewn together with a thread (12) and the circumferential edge portions (6a) are folded to the bladder (2) side; a filler (10) formed of a vulcanized rubber and loaded into a groove formed on an outer side of a region where the circumferential edge portions (6a) of the fabric pieces (6) adjacent to one other are sewn together; and a skin layer (5) having a plurality of skin panels (4) and positioned on an outside of the fabric layer (3), the plurality of skin panels (4) being in close contact with the fabric layer (3).
