Disclosed is a medical apparatus that has no risk of a drug such as a contrast agent or saline infiltrating into a housing, and that is easy to clean. An injection head (100) is provided with: a housing (111); and a display unit (50) that displays predetermined information and that is provided to a portion of the housing (111). The display unit (50) has: a light source (26) disposed within the housing (111); and a character display unit (20) that is disposed between the inner surface of the housing (111) and the light source (26), and that causes predetermined characters to be displayed on the surface (31a) thereof. The injection hed (100) is configured in a manner such that, in the state of the light source (26) being lit, said characters can be visually recognized from the outside of the aforementioned housing (111) by means of the light from the light source (26) passing through the housing (111), and in the state of the light source (26) not being lit, the characters can not be visually recognized from the outside of the aforementioned housing (111). |
