PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a check count of TCP flags and the number of rules of distribution rules.SOLUTION: In a load distribution system, a distribution device sets an identifier of a distribution rule to be an SA/prefix length, and manages a service processing device having a minimum load. On receipt of a packet, when a distribution rule for the packet exists, the distribution device transfers the packet according to the rule, whereas when a distribution rule does not exist, if the TCP flag of the packet is SYN, the distribution device sets a distribution rule in which the service processing device having the minimum load is set to be a destination. At the setting of the distribution rule, an idle timer is started, and the idle time is reset when the corresponding packet passes through. At the expiration of the idle timer, the distribution rule is deleted. |
