PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is set for a conference room or the like and capable of restricting its image forming function automatically when there is possibility of generating trouble in a conference or the like, and to provide an image forming system and a method for controlling the same.SOLUTION: An image forming system 100 comprises an image forming apparatus 200 and a first information processing device 310. The first information processing device 310 executes a predetermined application to display an image on a display device 300. Also, the first information processing device 310 transmits a restriction command to the image forming apparatus 200 when starting the predetermined application. In response to reception of the restriction command, the image forming apparatus 200 disables or holds execution of an image formation job received from a second information processing device 320, or transfers the received image formation job to another image forming apparatus, thereby restricting execution of image forming processing. Thus, it is possible to restrict an image forming function automatically when there is possibility of generating trouble in a conference or the like. |
