PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector suitable to a self-propelled vacuum cleaner which has a simple configuration and is user-friendly, and a self-propelled vacuum cleaner including the dust collector.SOLUTION: The dust collector includes a dust collection container having an opening to house dust, an inflow opening for making dust sucked from a suction opening of the bottom part of a self-propelled vacuum cleaner flow into the dust collection container together with air, a filter part for making the air flowed into the dust collection container pass through and collecting the dust, and a cover part pivoted by the dust collection container in an openable/closable manner so as to cover the filter part and the opening of the dust collection container. The filter part has a packing member press-fitted to the cover part at the periphery thereof, and has a projection at at least one place of the packing member, and the cover part has a notch part for exposing the projection of the filter part at a position opposite from the projection. |
