PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the residue of air in the interior, when a rubber member constituting a tire is molded.SOLUTION: This method for molding a tire involves the following procedures: First, a rubber strip R to be supplied from an extruder 20, is wound around the outer circumferential surface of a rotary support 10, while traversely transfering the rotary support 10 and the extruder 20 relatively. Next, the wound rubber strip R is laminated, and further, in the winding position of the rubber strip R on the circumferential surface of the rotary support 10, the rubber strip R is pressed by a hold-down roll 30. Besides, in the rest of the regional part, the rear part, in the advance direction of traverse transfer, of the rubber strip R, is contact bonded by pressing with the help of a stitching roll 40a or 40b. After this procedure, following the final circumferential winding of the rubber strip R, the rear part, in the advance direction, of the rubber strip Re ready for the final circumferential winding, is contact bonded by pressing. Finally, at least the forward part, in the advance direction of traverse transfer, of the rubber strip Re bound for the final circumferential winding, is contact bonded by pressing with the assistance of the stitching roll 40b or 40a. |
