PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good image quality and high separation performance while preventing the occurrence of separation failure.SOLUTION: A fixing device 20 includes: a fixing roller 21 in a hollow shape that is heated by a heater 23; a pressure roller 22 that is arranged on an outer peripheral side of the fixing roller 21 to be capable of being in press contact with the fixing roller 21 so as to form a nip part between the fixing roller 21 and the pressure roller 22; and separation means 30 for separating a recording medium P ejected from the nip part from the fixing roller 21. The separation means 30 is laid over the fixing roller 21 in a longitudinal direction, and has a flexible member 35 that comes into contact with the recording medium P at the time of separation to separate the recording medium P from the fixing roller 21; and the flexible member 35 is an endless shape, and penetrates an inner side of the hollow shape in the longitudinal direction of the fixing roller 21 to be laid circling around the fixing roller 21. |
