The present invention relates to a composite girder and a construction method of an upper structure of a bridge using the same. An abdomen is formed higher than an end in comparison to a middle portion of a steel girder to support a large vertical shearing force acting on the end by the expanded abdomen. A large bending moment acting on the middle portion is supported by forming the middle portion of the steel girder with an abdomen of a smaller section to secure economic efficiency and realizing a section modulus increased by casing concrete combined on a location separated from a neutral axis to minimize an amount of expensive steel used, improve a section efficiency, and effectively support the vertical shearing force and the bending moment. Accordingly, a sectional hardness reduction effect by buckling occurring when steel is used as a compression member can be blocked in advance. A structurally stable state can be maintained even if separate reinforcement installation for buckling prevention is minimized. |
