PURPOSE:To provide an electrostatic recording device wherein a so-called toner fog phenomenon caused when excess toner is stuck to a portion outside a toner image region is effectively prevented while complication of device constitution is avoided. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording device has a latent image carrier belt 1 comprising a dielectric, a latent image write head 2 for forming static latent images on the latent image carrier belt 1 by means of irradiation with an ion flow corresponding to image signal, a developing means 3 for developing latent images on the latent image carrier belt 1 by means of a toner, a toner fog regulating means 4 disposed on the lower side of the latent image write head 2 while being opposed to the developing means 3 and in contact with the latent image carrier belt 1 and adapted to collect an excess toner Ta on the latent image carrier belt 1 toward the developing means 3. |
