PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for refining molten iron with which the refining treatment can be applied without causing an increase in steel-making cost and the abrasion of a furnace body refractory.SOLUTION: As a top-blowing lance 5, the lance is used which has a refining agent-spouting passage 51 at the center part, and forms a fuel spouting passage 52, a gas-flowing passage 53 for combusting the fuel, a gas-flowing passage 54 for refining as the dephosphorization, a cooling water inside-flowing passage 55 and a cooling water outside-flowing passage 56, on the circumference of the refining agent-spouting passage 51 as the concentrical state. The powdery refining agent is supplied into the refining agent-spouting passage 51 together with inert gas, and the gas for combusting the fuel supplied into the gas-flowing passage 53, are spouted into a converter from the tip-end part of the top-blowing lance 5, to combust the fuel with the gas for combusting the fuel, and at the same time, the powdery refining agent supplied into the refining agent-spouting passage 51 is spouted into the converter from the top-center part of the top-blowing lance 5 together with the inert gas, to perform the refining treatment of the molten iron. |
