PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk apparatus, a gap servo device and a gap pull-in control method.SOLUTION: An optical disk apparatus 1 of the present invention includes: a spindle motor 7 for rotatably driving an optical disk 2 by the predetermined number of rotation; an SIL optical head 6 for fixing an objective lens 5 composed of a solid immersion lens (SIL); a gap actuator 7 for controlling a gap between the SIL optical head 6 and the optical disk 2; and a control part 14 for controlling gap pull-in operation by the gap actuator 7. The control part 14 functioning as a gap servo device sets, at the time of an initial setting before recording and reproduction, a target gap length of pull-in control to be a predetermined value larger than a desired value of the gap length at the time of recording and reproduction, performs the pull-in control by feedback control, subsequently compensates a gap error signal, further applying feedforward control, and after that, changes the target gap length to the desired value of the gap length. |
