PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting head and a liquid ejecting apparatus capable of improving liquid ejection quality by surely suppressing liquid thickening and sedimentation of components.SOLUTION: A liquid ejecting head includes: a nozzle plate 20 on which a nozzle opening 21 for ejecting liquid is provided; a channel forming substrate 10 on which a pressure generating chamber 12 communicating with the nozzle opening 21 is provided; pressure generating means 300 for generating pressure change in the liquid in the pressure generating chamber 12; and a communicating plate 15 disposed between the nozzle plate 20 and the channel forming substrate 10, and provided with a communicating path 16 making the pressure generating chamber 12 communicate with the nozzle opening 21. The communicating plate 15 is provided with a circulation channel 17 making the communicating path 16 communicate with a common liquid chamber 100 communicating with the plurality of pressure generating chambers 12 in common. |
