PURPOSE:To provide a toner recovering mechanism which is adapted to recover residual toner removed from the surface of the photoconductor of such an image recording device as an electrophotographic printer, and a copying machine, and capable of preventing the toner from being accumulated on the upper face of a bag filter during collection. CONSTITUTION:In a toner recovering mechanism having a box 1 which is equipped with an upper plate 4 having an opening therethrough and which is connected to a blower, a bag filter 2 having a hole opposite to the opening of the plate 4 at the center of the upper face thereof, from which to cause toner to fall, and a pipe 3 through which residual toner removed from the surface of a photoconductor is guided into the bag filter, a blocking member 11 adapted for preventing the toner from being accumulated on the upper face of the bag filter is provided between the upper plate 4 of the box and the upper face of the bag filter. |
