The invention relates to a fluid storage device including a container (1), comprising a valve (2) and a cap (3). The device comprises a split mounting ring (4), that is, a mounting ring having a single opening (14) on the circumference thereof and provided for installing/removing the mounting ring on/from the container (1). The opening (14) of the ring (4) is provided so as to form, during installation or removal of the ring (4), a passage for one portion or section of the container, or one member mounted onto the container. The cap (3), in the unmounted position thereof, includes at least two portions that are movable relative to each other. In the mounted position, said portions of the cap (3) are secured to each other and clamp the ring (4) onto the container (1). The mounting ring (4) is made up of molded or injected plastic material, and the opening of the mounting ring (14) is obtained by removing a breakable portion (24) of the ring which is molded or injected (14) at the same time as the rest of the ring (4). |
