The present invention relates to a method and device for dark current correction. The method comprises obtaining (2) a plurality of dark images from an image sensor, obtaining (4) an image frame from the image sensor, determining (6) a transformation of at least one dark image out of said plurality of dark images taking into account at least one dark pixel signal in said image frame, applying (9) said transformation to said at least one dark image to obtain a dark current frame, and subtracting (8) this dark current frame from the image frame. |
