PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel technique of producing D-amino acid using a microorganism belonging to Lactobacillus gasseri, and to provide a novel lactic acid bacteria producing D-amino acid with high efficiency.SOLUTION: A microorganism belonging to Lactobacillus gasseri is used for producing D-amino acid. Particularly D-amino acid can be produced with high efficiency by using the novel lactic acid bacteria strain suitable for the production concerned. |
