The purpose of the invention is to provide a passenger conveying device and steps of the passenger conveying device which enable parts in an installation structure which installs a slide contact memer to the steps to realize universalization and have excellent assembly operationality. The passenger conveying device has multiple steps which are in ring connection. The multiple steps move in cycles between an inlet floor and an outlet floor along a movement path between skirt guard plates. Each step has an anti-skid plate for carrying a passenger, and edge members and slide contact members at two ends o fthe anti-skid plate in the width direction. The slide contact members are disposed on faces opposite to the skirt guard plates and are in slide contact with the skirt guard plate. In the passenger conveying device, the edge members are provided with grooves for installing the slide contact members in two end s of the step in the depth direction. The edge emebers equipped on the step and arranged on the two ends of the anti-skid plate in the width direction are universal edge members. |
