摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system, a control method therefor, and a program, capable of optimizing final corrected image quality when performing an optical correction.SOLUTION: A digital camera includes: an image formation optical system 101 assuming a zoom lens focal distance, focus lens position, and optical diaphragm amount as a variable optical parameter; changeover sections 104, 106, and 108; a light falloff correction part 105; a magnification chromatic aberration correction part 107: a correction order switchover determination part 114; and a micro computer 117. By performing a magnification chromatic aberration correction first, an optical correction emphasizing the accuracy of magnification chromatic aberration correction can be achieved in the vicinity of macro photographing region where a magnification chromatic aberration is conspicuous, and for small diaphragm to release closer to a telescopic end where the light falloff is gentle with respect to an image height. On the other hand, by performing a light falloff correction first, an optical correction emphasizing on the accuracy of the light falloff correction can be achieved in a condition where the magnification chromatic aberration is not so conspicuous and the generation of light falloff is steep with regard to an image height.
