[Class 89 (i)] The thread of a bolt produced by cold rolling or otherwise has an intermediate crest 7 of larger diameter than standard. Adjacent threads 9 on either side are of intermediate diameter, so that this portion of the bolt presents an arcuate bulge to render the bolt self-looking. The root diameter is standard throughout.
