摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting method which suppresses an increase in a nitrogen content and reduces surface defects in casting a metal piece.SOLUTION: A continuous casting device 100 for casting a stainless steel piece 3c includes a long nozzle 2 extending into a tundish 101 and arranged on a ladle 1. Stainless molten steel 3 is injected into the tundish 101 through the long nozzle 2, and an injection port 2a of the long nozzle 2 is immersed in the injected stainless molten steel 3. During the injection, argon gas 4a is supplied in a periphery of the stainless molten steel 3 in the tundish 101. Furthermore, as the injection port 2a of the long nozzle 2 is immersed in the stainless molten steel 3 in the tundish 101, continuous casting is carried out by injecting the stainless molten steel 3 into the tundish 101 from the ladle 1 and injecting in a mold 105 from an inside of the tundish 101. During casting, nitrogen gas 4b in place of the argon gas 4a is supplied in the periphery of the stainless molten steel 3 in the tundish 101.
