PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport and storage container suitable for both transporting and storing a radioactive contaminant.SOLUTION: A transport and storage container 1A comprises: a cylindrical section 21 which is arranged inside a flexible container 6 in a manner that keeps a distance from a lateral face section 6a of the flexible container 6; an inner filling section 4 which is surrounded by the cylindrical section 21 and is filled with a high concentration pollutant H having a predetermined level of radioactive contamination; an outer filling section 5 which is arranged between the cylindrical section 21 and the lateral face section 6a and is filled with a low concentration pollutant L having a lower level of radioactive contamination than the high concentration pollutant H; and a bottom plate section 22 which secures a predetermined filling thickness d of the outer filling section 5 by positioning the cylindrical section 21 inside the flexible container 6. |
