PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a social network service provision system and method of setting a relation between users by using positions and motion patterns of mobile terminals.SOLUTION: A social network service provision system has: an information reception part receiving from a mobile terminal information related to a position and motion pattern of the mobile terminal; an information storage controller storing in a database the received information related to the position and motion pattern of the mobile terminal in association with information related to a user of the mobile terminal; and an information provision part inquiring of the database about information related to a user of the other mobile terminal on the basis of the information related the position and motion pattern, and providing the information to the mobile terminal.
