PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effluent treatment method enabling a stable extraction of sludge from a semi-batch biological treatment reaction tank.SOLUTION: In an effluent treatment method using a semi-batch reaction tank 14 for repeatedly executing an inflow step of inducing an inflow of an effluent, a biological treatment step of biologically treating, with a microorganism sludge, a treatment target substance within the effluent, a precipitation step of inducing the precipitation of the microorganism sludge, and a discharge step of discharging the treated water, a sludge extracting step of extracting, from the semi-batch reaction tank 14, a portion of the microorganism sludge under conditions where the microorganism sludge is dispersed within the semi-batch reaction tank 14 interposes between the biological treatment step and the precipitation step. |
