PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a media slot open/close door which is thin and features a locking mechanism.SOLUTION: A media slot open/close door comprises; an open/close door base having a hinge mechanism section; and an open/close door cover which is slidable in a first direction against the open/close door base. The open/close door cover has a movable-side latch which engages in the first direction with a fixed-side latch formed on a member on a media slot side, and protruded portions formed in the proximity of the movable-side latch. The open/close door base has a sliding plate which has recessed portions, which correspond to the protruded portions, formed on a side thereof and is slidable in a direction perpendicular to the first direction to allow movement thereof between a position at which the side thereof is in contact with the protruded portions and a position at which the side thereof is not in contact with the protruded portions. |
