LOCKING CLIP AND ANCHOR ASSEMBLY FOR A TETHER

A locking clip (6) and anchor assembly (4) for a tether. The clip (6) includes an opening (8) with at least one tab (10) extending into a portion of the opening (8). The clip (6) is also configured to attach to a tether or strap. In exemplary embodiments, the anchor assembly (4) includes a post (12), biased support (16), biasing mechanism (46), and base (26). The clip (6) is configured to be connectable to the post (12) and movable to latched and unlatched conditions with respect to the anchor assembly (4). In the latched condition the clip (6) has a limited range of rotation possible about the post.
