OUTDOOR DISPLAY APPARATUS

Disclosed is an outdoor display apparatus. The outdoor display apparatus of the present invention comprises: a closure containing an open portion formed on at least some area of a front surface; a display panel which displays images by means of the open portion within the closure; a backlight unit placed on a back surface of the display panel; and a frame placed on a back surface of the backlight unit. The backlight unit comprises: a main light source which generates lights from power applied thereto; and an auxiliary light source which emits lights concentrated from the outside. According to the present invention, since the auxiliary light source emitting lights concentrated from the outside is further contained, besides the main light source, the outdoor display apparatus is well recognizable even when the level of radiation is low in a dark night. Therefore, a low level of radiation is not a problem. In a day, the level of radiation provided for the display apparatus becomes high, so that the visibility thereof can be improved.
