PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a razor best suited to hairline shaving, which helps shave in a stable and precise manner.SOLUTION: A razor 1 includes a blade holder part 2, a handle 3, and a blade 18 attached to the blade holder part 2 with its edge extending in the longitudinal direction of the razor 1. At least one recessed portion 8 is formed in at least one side face 6 of the blade holder part 2, in a shape that allows the ball of a thumb of a user to fit into the recessed portion 8, and enables the user to stably hold the razor by preventing the finger from easily slipping or unintendedly moving either within the recessed portion 8 in the longitudinal or vertical direction, namely upward and downward directions. |
