PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data processing system that can process received data in consideration of the state of a data destination apparatus.SOLUTION: The print data processing system includes a multifunction printer 9 for receiving print data including FAX data via a network, and a plurality of apparatuses 20 connected to the multifunction printer 9. The multifunction printer 9 receives print data including FAX data, extracts character data from the received print data, identifies a destination by the character data, acquires apparatuses possessed at the destination and network addresses, selects one apparatus having an acquired network address, and notifies the existence of the received print data and transmits the extracted character data to the selected apparatus. The apparatus 20, on receiving the character data, makes a processing selection operation related to the processing of the print data that is the source of the extracted character data, and the multifunction printer 9 processes the print data in accordance with the processing selection operation. |
