PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which can suppress overpower thereby minimizing heat generation and noise, and does not need a hydraulic sensor to be added for suppressing the overpower, and an electric pump unit thereof.SOLUTION: A control circuit 21 includes an overpower suppressing control means 32 for suppressing the overpower by decreasing a current instruction value from a higher-level ECU 19. A control signal output means 31 obtains a motor control signal by adding the decreased quantity of the current instruction value to the current instruction value from the higher-level ECU 19. The overpower suppressing control means 32 includes a hydraulic pressure estimating part 34 for estimating the hydraulic pressure, and a current instruction value correction amount calculating part 35 for comparing a target hydraulic pressure with the estimated hydraulic pressure to output the decreased quantity of the current instruction value. The hydraulic pressure estimating part 34 includes a hydraulic pressure estimation map 36 which indicates correspondence relation among current and rotational speed of an electric motor 4, and the estimated hydraulic pressure, and an adjustment factor of the hydraulic pressure estimation value calculated by measurement per electric pump unit. |
